Portrait sessions and pricing
We offer the following types of portrait sessions: senior portraits, dance portraits for groups and individuals, Sweet 16, families, model comp, headshots, and sports teams. Take a look at the sessions below to see the pricing and more information for each type of session.
Seniors
We offer senior portrait sessions both outdoors and in our studio. Seniors can choose from three types of sessions - a mini, a classic and the Epic.
Dance
We offer photo sessions for dance teams and studios as well as individual sessions in our studio and outdoors. Whether you are a dance student or professional, we can create a portrait session for you or your group. Information on our sessions for individuals and groups is available here!
SPORTS
You can use the high school yearbook picture to represent your team, or we can create something with a little more creative flair and drama. When I do these concepts with high school sports teams or individual athletes, we come up with a plan to create something truly unique for the team or athlete. I do both individual sessions and team sessions.
CREATIVE CONCEPTUAL Portraits
Conceptual portraits have no boundaries, and are as outside of the box as you can get. You may have your own ideas of what you want to do, or maybe you just know you want something different. We do rain and color powder sessions in our studio a couple of times a year, and smoke bomb sessions outdoors. Then there is light painting, projection, silk fabrics, haze and fog. But for our real conceptual shots, they are often shot in our studio and then we place the subject in any environment we can come up with, or we just add artistic elements. FAMILY PORTRAIT Sessions
Our family sessions can be held at outdoor locations or in the comfort of our studio, which is wheelchair accessible. I work with single families as well as extended families. Most sessions can be completed within an hour but it can take longer with extended families. I also offer mini-sessions at the studio.
Headshots
We offer headshot sessions at our studio. You can choose from a single look package to multi-look package with multiple JPGs. We photograph headshots with a variety of styles determined by its usage.
MODEL COMPS
We offer model comp sessions at the studio and on location. We’re quite familiar with the requirements for submitting photos to model agencies, and we actually hire models throughout the year, usually for magazine cover shoots. For established models, we offer sessions to continue to build your portfolio.
MUSICIAN PORTRAITS
It’s a lot of fun to do a portrait where we feature a musician with their instrument. We have a variety of backgrounds to work with, and we’re never short on conceptual ideas. Take a look at our gallery of images to get an idea of what we can do with you.
COLOR POWDER
We offer color powder sessions twice a year during 10-day sessions at our studio in Crystal Lake. These are often used for individual sessions, but I also done family sessions with these. RAIN SESSIONS
We offer rain sessions twice a year during 10-day sessions at our studio in Crystal Lake. These are often used for individual sessions, but they can also be a family session with individual shots included. Lots of concepts we can work with on these.
