Model call for Dancers for several projects
I have several opportunities this summer for dancers to get the experience of modeling for me at workshops, a dancewear fashion shoot, and of course the Pas de Deux Dance Photography Conference in Austin, TX, on Feb. 24-27, 2022.
Monday, July 12
We’re hosting a dancewear fashion shoot at our studio at 800 McArdle Drive, Crystal Lake, IL, on Monday, July 12, starting at 10 am and going through probably to 2 pm or so. Dancers who participate will receive a free leo and free JPGs. For this shoot, you must fit into the measurements provided. We are looking for three dancers for each size.
Adult Size Small. This can be teens as well, but applicants must have an advanced ballet technique and fit into the measurements. Any height: Bust: 31-34" Waist: 24-26" Hips: 34-36"
Youth Size Medium. This can be for girls 8-12 years old with intermediate technique who can fit into these measurements.

Friday-Sunday, July 16-18
Ron McKinney Photography is hosting a Pas de Deux Dance Photography Workshop July 16-18 where about 40 dance photographers from around the country will come to Chicago to attend a workshop led by Ron McKinney and David Hofmann (aka “Sharkcookie” on IG).
We are accepting applications for dancers to model for several of our sessions during the workshop. We are looking for dancers 12 or older who specialize in different forms of dance, and we are looking for more experienced and skilled dancers. To apply, you must do so through the link to the form below. You’ll provide three pictures, plus provide us with info on your level of skill and experience. Please choose the sessions you are available to accept an invitation to in the drop down window on this form. Accepted dancers will receive their invitation at least one week before the session. All dancers who apply will not necessarily be accepted to participate in this experience. It is important to note that modeling with Pas de Deux Photography is intended to be an independent activity for dancers; however we allow one dance parent to attend photo shoot opportunities with their dancer. *Please know, transportation will not be provided. All dancer models will be compensated with JPG photos from their session(s).
You need not be available for every session. When you apply, you simply let us know which of these sessions you are available:

Sunday, Aug. 15
I will be hosting a Pas de Deux Photo workshop on color powder photography at my studio at 800 McArdle Drive, Crystal Lake, IL. I may need two or three dancers from 11 am to 3 pm. I’m looking for more advanced dancers 16 years old or older. You will receive JPGs in return. Feb. 24-27, 2022 in Austin, TX
The annual Pas de Deux Dance Photography Conference will be held at the Lost Pines Spa & Resort just east of Austin, TX. More than 400 photographers and 100 dancers will be there. The deadline for dancers to apply is Aug. 31, 2021. If accepted, there is a cost of $90 and dancers must take care of their own travel.
