High school dance teams, cheer teams and Orchesis groups can celebrate their season with photo sessions on location or in the studio. Ron can meet you at the beach, at a park or forest preserve or in the city. In the past Ron has photographed high school varsity teams from Prairie Ridge, Stevenson, South Elgin, Lincoln-Way Central, Minooka, Downers Grove, Lake Zurich, Antioch Community, Wheaton North, St. Charles East, Huntley, Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South, Jacobs, Providence Catholic, Streamwood, Burlington Central, Grant Community, Joliet Catholic, ICCP, Sycamore, Lombard, West Aurora, Dundee-Crown and Cary-Grove.

There are two different ways of doing the shoots with high school teams. The most popular way is the Full Team Shoot, where all the dancers show up, we get full team shots, class group shots, and the rest are buddy shots or individual poses or leaps. The Individual style shoot, such as what I do with Stevenson HS each year, is a studio shoot where the dancers come in 15 minute increments, and we create 3 stylized images with unique artistic lighting for each pose. There are no group shots.

FULL TEAm SHOOT

This is by far the most popular and can be done in studio or on location. I charge $40 per dancer, and this covers the session fee, multiple individual poses and headshots as well as whole team and small group poses of class groups, buddy shots, captains, and more. Some schools pay for it, and some schools the parents pay cash or check. Teams receive full resolution JPGs and social media JPGs they can share and use on social media and their team pages. The shoots usually last about 2-3 hours and you can have several outfit changes. It can be held at our studio in Crystal Lake, or on location near your high school, or at your high school.

INDIVIDUAL SHOOTS FOR A TEAM

An alternative option for high school dance teams is to do a artistic lighting session at my studio. Each dancer would get their own 15 minutes, and we would create three creatively lighted poses or leaps during their session. The dancers would be scheduled, one by one, for each 15 minutes, so the whole team would not be sitting around waiting on each dancer as they pose. The cost for this type of shoot is $75 per dancer. We would need three hours to schedule 12 dancers, four hours to schedule 16 dancers, and so on. RAIN or Color Powder Shoots for High School Teams

High School dance teams can also schedule their rain sessions or color powder sessions. Groups of 4 or more get a discount, and teams of 10 or more get our largest bulk discount. Each team or group also gets a free group social media JPG from the session.
